Terms of Use

1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nevie Apps Platform website and any App we publish (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are using an App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2 Our App Models

We publish apps across categories including utilities, education, and productivity tools. Each App follows one or more of the following models, stated in that App's own store listing:

• Free, no ads — fully free, no advertising, no account needed
• Freemium with ads — free to use, supported by third-party advertising
• One-time purchase — a single payment unlocks the full App, no subscription
• Account required — needs a Nevie or third-party sign-in, usually for syncing data

Unless an App's listing says otherwise, you do not need to create an account to download or use it. All free Apps can be installed and used without registering.

3 License to Use Our Apps

Subject to your compliance with these Terms (and, for paid Apps, your completed purchase), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install our Apps on Android devices that you own or control
• Use each App for personal, educational, or — unless that App's listing says otherwise — commercial purposes
• Access our website and its public content

This license does not include the right to redistribute, sublicense, or resell copies of any App or its source code without our explicit written permission.

4 Permitted Use

You may:

• Use any App for any personal, educational, or professional purpose consistent with its intended function
• Keep and use any content you create within an App (your documents, notes, projects, etc. remain yours)
• Integrate a public update-check API into your own tooling if we explicitly permit it for a given App

5 Prohibited Use

Across all our Apps and the website, you must not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any App beyond what is permitted by applicable law
• Redistribute any App's APK through unofficial channels without written permission
• Modify and redistribute an App while presenting it as the original
• Interfere with, defraud, or manipulate advertising shown in ad-supported Apps (e.g. click fraud, fake impressions)
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent payment for one-time-purchase features
• Attempt unauthorised access to our admin panel, database, or server infrastructure
• Scrape or crawl our website in a way that places unreasonable load on our servers
• Use any App or the website to distribute malicious software or violate applicable law

6 Accounts (Account-Required Apps Only)

For Apps that require an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering
• Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account
• Be responsible for activity that occurs under your account

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy. Apps that do not require an account are unaffected by this section.

7 Advertising (Ad-Supported Apps Only)

Some Apps are free to use and supported by advertising from third-party ad networks. By using an ad-supported App, you acknowledge that:

• Ads are served and measured by third-party providers, subject to their own terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements
• Interfering with ad delivery or measurement (including via modified APKs) is prohibited under Section 5

Apps marketed as "no ads" do not include advertising and this section does not apply to them.

8 Payments, Purchases & Refunds (Paid Apps Only)

Some Apps are available as a one-time purchase. For those Apps:

• Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing (or the equivalent store billing system)
• We do not receive, see, or store your payment card details
• A one-time purchase unlocks the App (or specified features) for as long as the App remains compatible with your device and operating system — it is not a subscription unless explicitly stated otherwise
• Refunds are handled through the store you purchased from, in accordance with that store's refund policy, since we do not have access to your payment method or transaction

9 Intellectual Property

All content across our Apps and website — including names, logos, design, compiled binaries, and any shared APIs — is the intellectual property of Nevie Apps Platform and its contributors.

Content you create is yours. Any documents, projects, notes, or other content you create using one of our Apps remains entirely your own intellectual property. We claim no ownership over content you produce with our tools.

If a specific App is released under an open-source licence, the terms of that licence apply in addition to these Terms for that App; in the event of a conflict, the open-source licence prevails for the licensed components.

10 APK Downloads and Verification

Official APKs for our Apps are available exclusively through our website. We publish a SHA-256 checksum for every release so you can verify the integrity of your download before installing. We recommend:

• Only downloading our Apps from our website or sources we explicitly authorise
• Verifying the SHA-256 hash shown on the release page before installation
• Keeping each App updated to receive security and stability improvements

We are not responsible for harm caused by APK files obtained from unofficial or third-party sources.

11 Updates and Mandatory Updates

Our Apps periodically check for updates via our update API. Some releases may be marked mandatory when we determine that continuing on an older version poses a security, stability, or compatibility risk. In such cases the App may prompt you to update before continuing.

12 Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Apps and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Warranties that defects will be corrected
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nevie Apps Platform and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, or business opportunities; damage to your device; or issues arising from APKs obtained from unofficial sources. This applies regardless of the theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; in such cases the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14 Third-Party Content

Our Apps and website may incorporate third-party libraries, advertising SDKs, billing systems, or services. These are governed by their own respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of any third-party service.

15 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website, update API, or (for account-required Apps) your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or operational necessity. Because most of our Apps work fully offline once installed, termination of website access does not by itself remove an already-installed App from your device.

16 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as we add new Apps or change existing ones. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes specific to one App (for example, a previously free App adding a paid tier) will also be reflected in that App's own store listing. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If you are a consumer, you retain any rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
